Crew Resource Management

Crew Resource Management (CRM) has long been a predominantly aviation-based training strategy but that picture is changing rapidly.  The ethos of CRM training is now being adapted, adopted and delivered across industry, including the NHS, and is now seen as being a positive step towards developing individuals and teams, helping them to operate in a far safer and more collaborative environment.

As aircraft have become more complex and reliable it is the human element that provides the ‘weakest link’ and the greatest potential risk to safe flight. CRM training aims to reduce those human factor risks.
